Julia Dinsdale

Julia has worked in the voluntary and community sector for many years in both inner city London and in rural areas of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and more lately in Exeter, Devon.  Her work has covered teaching in the community, providing return to learning course for adults and professional training for community workers, as well as face to face community work.  She is a skilled group facilitator, trainer and researcher.

She has a range of knowledge of the sector and lately has been involved in supporting local community and voluntary groups in Exeter, providing guidance on a range of issues from legal requirements, trustee support, fundraising and volunteer support.  She has mentored local groups and continues to volunteer with groups in Exeter.

She has travelled widely and visited Tanzania in 2005 where she assisted in a rural school for a short period working with pre-school children.
