The construction of a school building has enabled us create a safe space for inside learning. Previously classes were taking place outside, under the shade of the trees.
Thanks to the hard work of Malcom Gigg at ARA architects and the generous donation of Mike Owen, we have been able to carry out the completion of 6 classrooms of the school building. With access to educational resources and comfortable facilities, this has made a phenomenal difference to the quality of teaching and the progress of the students.
Thanks to the support of Rotary Exmouth and Mike Owen, we have built 8 toilets- 4 for boys and 4 for girls. This gives the girls the much-needed privacy and enables them to attend the school without having to worry about their hygiene. The school as a whole is now more hygienic and a safer environment to work in.
